Hadapsar, 25th August 2026: Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions, community rallies, bike processions and grand juloos are being organised across various towns and cities to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad on Wednesday, August 26.

In Sayad Nagar, Hadapsar, police have granted permission for processions and community rallies, but organisers have not been granted permission to use DJs during the celebrations.

Girisha Nimbalkar, Senior Police Inspector at Kalepadal Police Station, said permission has been granted for processions and community rallies, subject to police guidelines. However, permission to use DJs has not been granted.

According to the police, loud DJ music has been a recurring concern during such events. Local residents have raised complaints about excessive noise and the inconvenience caused by loud music, particularly when processions pass through residential areas.

“Permission has been given for processions and community rallies, but permission for DJs has not been given,” Nimbalkar said.

Police have appealed to organisers and participants to cooperate with the authorities and follow all prescribed guidelines to ensure that the celebrations are conducted peacefully and without causing inconvenience to local residents.

Security and traffic management arrangements are also expected to be in place during the procession.
