Pune: Now Pay PCMC Property Tax Anytime, Anywhere with a Single Click

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 1st August: In a move to enhance convenience for residents, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has launched a digital initiative allowing property owners to pay their taxes with just one click. The Property Tax Department is now sending personalised payment links via SMS to registered mobile numbers, enabling users to view and settle their tax bills instantly from any location.

This citizen-centric effort is part of PCMC’s ongoing mission to digitise municipal services and reduce the need for in-person visits. Property owners are reminded to use only the official PCMC website when completing transactions.

With over 7.31 lakh registered properties in Pimpri-Chinchwad, PCMC has already taken several services fully online, including property tax payments, ownership transfers, rebate schemes, and no-dues certificate issuance. Citizens who haven’t linked their mobile numbers with their property accounts are urged to do so to access these digital facilities.

PCMC Assistant Commissioner Avinash Shinde noted that online taxpayers are eligible for a 4% rebate on the general tax component. He encouraged citizens to make use of this benefit and complete their payments before the due date.

“PCMC’s core objective is to deliver fast, efficient services using modern technology. Online tax payment not only saves time for citizens but also supports transparent governance. We will continue introducing more such digital solutions going forward,” said Pradip Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner, PCMC.

“Those who have linked their mobile numbers with their property records are already using our online services. Others are requested to update their records soon, so they too can access all services from home,” added Avinash Shinde, Assistant Commissioner.
