Pimpri-Chinchwad, 12th July 2025: In a disturbing case of cyber exploitation, a woman’s morphed nude photo was sent to her relatives on WhatsApp after she refused to pay an inflated loan amount. The Pimpri-Chinchwad Cyber Police have registered a case against 15 mobile number holders and three UPI ID holders in connection with the incident, which occurred between June 11 and 22 in Mhalunge near Balewadi.

Based on the woman’s complaint, Isaki Rajan Isaki Muthu Thevar (29), a resident of Vashi, Navi Mumbai, has been arrested.

According to police, the accused sent a loan app link to the complainant’s WhatsApp number. Upon clicking the link, the accused gained access to all personal data on her phone. Without her consent, Rs 5,400 was transferred into her bank account. In return, she paid Rs 9,000 as repayment. Despite this, the accused demanded an additional Rs 15,000.

When she refused to pay, the accused threatened to circulate her morphed nude photographs to all contacts stored on her phone. Eventually, the explicit image was sent to several of her relatives on WhatsApp.

Cyber Police are investigating further and have urged the public to avoid clicking on unknown links and to report online financial or personal exploitation immediately.
