Pune: One Girl Died As Fire Broke Out At Biryani House; Cause Of Fire Broke Is Yet To Be Ascertained
Pune, 22nd October 2022: A 6-year-old girl was burnt to death in a fire in a Hydrabadi Biryani House. This incident happened today (October 22) at around 11.00 am. The deceased girl’s name is Iqra Naeem Khan.
According to the information provided by the fire brigade, a fire broke out in a biryani house near Bhikardas Maruti this morning. The fire brigade received information about the fire at 10.52 am and immediately thereafter a vehicle of the fire brigade reached the spot at 10.57 am.
The jawans removed 3 cylinders from the spot. Also, a 6-year-old girl trapped in the fire was pulled out and taken to the hospital in the Devdut vehicle. But she died while undergoing treatment at Surya Hospital.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire was brought under control at around 11.05 am.
At the said place, there are six coal grates and three cylinders and the preliminary estimate is that the fire started due to gas leakage. The electricity supply was interrupted by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) due to some electric shock at the site of the incident.
Also, fire chief Devendra Potfode informed that the fire was completely extinguished after checking whether anyone else was trapped inside and handed over some money and jewellery in the custody of the girl’s mother.
