Pune: Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Job Fair Yields Employment Opportunities for 538 Candidates
Pune, 6th February 2024: In a significant initiative aimed at fostering employment opportunities, the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Job Fair was recently organized at Shaheed Tukaram Ombale Ground, Gokhale Nagar, in collaboration with the Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department, and Swayambhu Foundation Pune. The event witnessed the selection of 538 candidates for various job roles.
The event garnered notable participation from MLA Siddharth Shirole and representatives from various corporations across the district. A total of 38 industrial organizations from the industrial area of Pune district actively engaged in the employment fair, underscoring their commitment to fostering local employment.
During the fair, representatives of these organizations conducted interviews with aspiring candidates, ultimately selecting 538 individuals for employment opportunities. Additionally, 253 candidates were acquainted with the diverse schemes offered by various corporations, enhancing their awareness of available resources for professional growth.
MLA Siddharth Shirole, addressing the attendees, emphasized the importance of maximizing the benefits offered by such job fairs, encouraging candidates to actively participate and explore available opportunities. Assistant Commissioner of Skill Development, Employment, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department, Sachin Jadhav, provided insights into the event’s purpose and encouraged candidates to leverage similar employment fairs organized across various locations.
