Bhosari, 21st June 2021: Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is planning to set up an oxygen plant at an open residential plot in Bhosari to prepare for the third wave. PCMC has approved to acquire a 465 square metre area for Rs 80.39 lakh.

The civic body has decided to acquire the plot near the new Bhosari hospital which is adjacent to the road. The current owners will get proper compensation along with 30 per cent comforting benefits.

The PCMC will be giving a total of Rs 80,39,850 to the owner with the rate of 13 thousand rupees per square metre but it is on hold as the place shows ‘sharing area’ under multiple owners. Thus, the original owner is not found.

The compensation will be given after the due confirmation according to the Epidemic Diseases Act 1987 and section 41 of Disaster Management Act 2005.
