Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Ankush Shinde Transferred, Vinay Choube Appointed As New Police Commissioner
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 13th December 2022: Maharashtra state government today transferred Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Ankush Shinde. He took charge in April this year. He is now the Commissioner of Nashik city.

IPS officer Vinay Choube has been appointed as the new Police Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad. Choube was the head of the Maharashtra Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Officials said that Shinde’s transfer is not surprising in the backdrop of the recent ink attack on Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil.
