Pune: PM Narendra Modi To Visit Serum Institute To Review COVID Vaccine Status
Pune, November 26, 2020: PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Pune is finalised on 28 November to review the status of Covid-19 vaccine production and proposed distribution plan.
The Covid-19 vaccine is being developed in Pune and the 3rd phase of clinical trials has begun already. Therefore the ambassadors and envoys of 100 countries were going to visit Pune based Serum Institute of India in Hadapsar and Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd in Hinjawadi on 27 November which has been postponed to 4 December.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit on Saturday at noon. The minute to minute program is yet to be received. The administration has already held meetings to prepare the Prime Minister’s visit to Pune.
