Officials said the Pune regional programme highlighted the scheme’s focus on expanding formal employment, supporting first-time job seekers and encouraging employers to generate additional jobs under the Employment-Linked Incentive (ELI) framework.
Beneficiaries in Pune shared that the scheme provided financial encouragement at the start of their careers, while also strengthening job security through formal employment benefits.

Employers present at the Pune event said the initiative has helped reduce recruitment costs and encouraged companies to expand hiring, particularly in manufacturing and services sectors.
