Pune: PMC Medical Officer Arrested For Molesting Woman Doctor
Karve Nagar, 8th October 2021: Alankar police station under Pune city police has arrested Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) medical officer for allegedly molesting a woman doctor working as the medical officer at the ward level.
The arrested PMC medical officer has been identified as Dr Satish Kolsure. He is posted as the medical officer at the Late Arvind Bartakke Hospital, Atul Nagar. A 42-year-old woman doctor has lodged a complaint against him.
According to the police, Dr Kolsure has been forwarding obscene messages about her on social media and indulged in her character assassination. He allegedly spoke about her ‘love affair’ with a junior doctor. He also posted messages on an official WhatsApp group and harassed her, she told police.
Earlier she had complained against Dr Kolsure to PMC Health Officer Dr Ashish Bharati but he did not take any action. Officials from PMC said that many other doctors and nurses have also complained against Dr Kolsure.
