Pune: PMPML Extends Service On Two Routes
Pune 7th July 2023: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced the extension of two bus routes in response to the growing demand from commuters in specific areas.
According to officials, Bus Route No. 179, which originally operated from Hadapsar to Vimannagar, will now be extended further to Lohegaon.
Similarly, Bus Route No. 225, which served commuters traveling from Hinjewadi Phase 3 to Vimannagar, will now have an extension to Kharadi Gaon Depot. By extending this route, PMPML aims to cater to the transportation needs of residents in Kharadi and nearby areas, offering them a direct bus service to Hinjewadi Phase 3 and Vimannagar without requiring multiple transfers.
These route extensions are a direct response to the increasing demand from passengers in these specific areas. Previously, commuters traveling along these routes had to switch buses twice to reach their destinations, causing inconvenience and longer travel times. With the newly extended routes, passengers can enjoy a more seamless and efficient bus journey, enhancing their overall commuting experience.
