Pune, 18th December 2023: In a bid to enhance passenger engagement and address service-related concerns, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) is set to commemorate “Pravasi Din” (Passenger’s Day) at every Pune bus depot on the second and fourth Friday of each month.

According to information provided by PMPML, the initiative aims to rectify any shortcomings in the bus service, foster a more people-centric approach to passenger services, and seek valuable input from commuters. The inaugural “Passenger’s Day” is scheduled for December 22, from 3 pm to 5 pm, at every bus depot in Pune.

On the occasion of “Pravasi Din,” designated guardian officers assigned to each depot will be available to address passenger concerns and listen to their feedback. For the convenience of those unable to visit the depots during their daily routines, passengers can register complaints, suggestions, and other feedback at the main bus stands and pass centers of PMPML.

PMPML is urging as many passengers as possible to actively participate in the “Pravasi Din” initiative. This offers an opportunity to have their issues and complaints addressed promptly, as well as to provide valuable suggestions for further improvement. The passenger-focused event aims to foster a collaborative environment where the concerns and feedback of commuters are acknowledged and acted upon, contributing to an enhanced public transportation experience in Pune.
