Pune Police Arrest Nana Walke Of Aundh In Rs 5 Crore Moneylending Case

Aundh, 29th December 2021: After busting the moneylending racket of famous businessman and Congress leader Nanasaheb Gaikwad of Aundh, Pune city police have arrested two persons in connection with a moneylending case.

 

Based on a complaint from a 35-year-old man from Balewadi, Chatushrungi police station has registered an FIR. The arrested persons have been identified as Ramdas alias Nana Gopinath Walke (37) of Vidhatevasti in Aundh and his accomplice Aniket Ramesh Hajare (38) of Dapodi.

According to police, the incident took place between 2015 and 10th December 2021. The complainant had taken Rs 3.5 crore loan from Walke and re-paid Rs 5.1 crore. However, they demanded Rs 4.75 crore more. Hajare forcefully took away the registration certificate (RC) of the complainant’s four-wheeler and made him sign a promissory note.

 

The complainant told police that Walke threatened to get bogus cases filed against him and also to kill him.

 

Police have registered a case of extortion and moneylending against the accused persons. Senior Police Inspector Rajkumar Waghchaure is further investigating the case.
