In response to this incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rohidas Pawar announced a ban on heavy vehicles on specific sections of the Katraj Kondhwa road. The restrictions are in effect from Shatrunjay Mandir to Gangadham Chowk and from Tilekar Nagar to Gangadham Chowk between 7 AM and 10 PM.

The order, issued by DCP Rohidas Pawar, aims to mitigate the risks posed by ongoing construction work and the presence of heavy vehicles, which have previously led to accidents on this road.
