Kharadi, 7th September 2026: Pune police have busted an alleged sex racket being operated under the guise of a spa in Kharadi and rescued a 26-year-old woman from Nagaland.

The spa manager, Radhika, 38, has been taken into custody, while the premises owner, Manisha, 54, has also been booked for allegedly providing the space for the illegal activity.

According to police, they received information that an alleged immoral activity was being carried out at Feel Touch Spa, located on the first floor of Wing A of the City Vista building in Kharadi.

Based on the information, police sent a decoy customer to the spa to verify the allegations. The decoy customer was provided with eight ₹500 notes, totalling ₹4,000, and their serial numbers were recorded by the police.

At around 5.05 pm, the decoy customer entered the spa and inquired about massage services as well as an alleged “extra service”. Police said the staff accepted ₹4,000 from him and directed him to Room No. 2, where a woman was present.

After confirming that a deal for an alleged illegal service had been made, the decoy customer gave the pre-arranged signal to the police. A police team subsequently raided the spa at around 5.40 pm.

During the raid, police detained Radhika, who was allegedly managing and operating the spa. The team recovered the ₹4,000 allegedly paid by the decoy customer and seized an additional ₹18,500 in cash.

Police also seized two mobile phones, a Paytm UPI machine, a CCTV DVR, a rate card and other material. According to police, the total value of the seized items is around ₹74,000.

The woman rescued from the premises is a 26-year-old resident of Nagaland. Police said she had been working at the spa for around two years and was being paid a monthly salary of ₹25,000.

During the investigation, police also found that a rent agreement for the premises had been executed in February 2026. Police alleged that the premises had been provided for operating the spa.

According to police, Manisha had provided the premises to Radhika and the two allegedly acted in connivance to run the illegal activity.

A case has been registered against Radhika and Manisha at Kharadi police station under relevant sections of law.

Further investigation is underway.
