Pune Police Bust Gang Of Mobile Snatchers In Kalyani Nagar, 11 Phones Recovered
Yerwada, 4th May 2023: The officials from Yerwada police station have apprehended a gang involved in threatening citizens and snatching mobile phone at night, including minors.
The accused has been identified as Rais Zakir Sheikh (21) of Bopodi and Rohit Ranveer Singh Chidar (21) of Jai Jawan Nagar in Yerwada. The police have also detained minors involved in mobile theft. The accused used to threaten people and snatch their mobile phones at night.
Acting on a tip-off received by policeman Amzad Shaikh and Anil Shinde, the accused was arresed in Kalyan Nagar. The police have seized 11 mobile sets and two bikes from them.
