Pune Police Bust Prostitution Racket at Koregaon Park Hotel; Two Foreign Women Rescued

Koregaon Park, 22nd November 2025: A prostitution racket operating out of a hotel in Koregaon Park was busted during a police raid, leading to the rescue of two foreign women.

The Koregaon Park Police Station has registered a case against two suspects identified as Aditya Anil Kumar Singh, 31, a resident near German Bakery in Koregaon Park, and Rahul Madan alias Rahul Sanyashi.

According to officials, the Anti-Human Trafficking and Trade Unit (AHTU) received a tip-off that foreign nationals were being pushed into prostitution in the locality. Acting on the input, a team led by Police Inspector Ashalata Khapre organised a decoy operation at The Heaven Hotel with the help of a fake customer.

During the raid, police confirmed that women were being brought to the hotel for prostitution as arranged by Aditya Singh and Rahul Sanyashi.

The action was carried out under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Pankaj Deshmukh, DCP (Crime) Nikhil Pingle and ACP Shankar Khatke. The team comprised Police Inspector Ashalata Khapre, PSI Vishant Chavan, and police personnel Dattaram Jadhav, Babanrao Kedar, Tushar Bhivarkar, Imran Nadaf, Amey Rasal, Ishwar Andhale, Vaishali Khedekar, Reshma Kank, and Vaishali Ingle.
