Pune: Police Constable Found Dead In Lohegaon, Suicide Note Recovered
Pune 7th July 2023: A police constable working with the Motor Transport Section in Pune Police was found dead at his residence in the Gurudwara Colony, Lohegaon area on Friday. The deceased identified as Vaibhav Dilip Shinde was found hanging to a tree branch on the terrace.
According to reports, the deceased’s body was noticed by his wife at around 4 am on Friday and she immediately informed the other family members. The local police rushed to the spot but he was declared dead by the doctors.
A suicide note has been recovered by police in which he apologises his family members. He was preparing for the Police Sub Inspector exam for the last few months. He is survived by his wife and a four year old son.
Some family members have alleged that he took this extreme step due to the harassment by superior officers in the department.
Further investigation is currently ongoing.
