Pune police fines 500 drunk drivers in 3 days

Pune – Around 500 drunk drive (DD) cases in last three days is shocking number as they were working days. There were 7500 helmet cases too. DD without helmet is a dangerous combination for self and DD alone is very dangerous for others on road. Please follow rules for your own safety and for other Pune citizens, tweeted Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic) Tejaswi Satpute of Pune city police.
Police have intensified checking as there has been about 400 deaths in road accidents in Pune every year.
