Pune Police Invoke MCOCA Against Dharme Gang Active In Kothrud

Kothrud, 21st January 2022: Action has been taken against a gang led by notorious criminal Kunal Dharme from Sutardara area. This is the 66th action taken by Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta.

A case has been registered for offences under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against Yashraj Hanumant Shinde, Yogesh Ram Dagdu, Dheeraj Nathu Kudle, Mahesh Sham Satpute, Rohit Suresh Satpute, Santosh Nivekar and Tushar Pokale of Kunal Dharme gang.

There are many cases against them in the past including that of attempt to murder, burglary, assault and property damage.

Senior Police Inspector Mahendra Jagtap had sent a proposal to Deputy Commissioner of Police Pournima Gaikwad for action against the gang under the MCOCA. Accordingly, action has been taken against the gang.
