Pune Police Issue New Advisory For Traffic Changes In Golibar Maidan Area During Eid Namaz

Camp, 21st April 2023: The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Vijaykumar Magar, has issued a new advisory regarding traffic changes to be implemented mainly in the Golibar Maidan area of Camp, Pune, on Saturday or Sunday for Eid celebration. These changes in traffic regulation will not apply to government vehicles on duty or emergency services vehicles.

From 6 am till end of the Namaz, there will be traffic diversion near Golibar Maidan chowk.

According to the advisory, traffic heading to Mammadevi Chowk from Solapur Road will be diverted through Bishop School or Command Hospital or proceed to Napier Road and CDO Square. Traffic from Golibar Maidan to Swargate will be diverted via CDO Square, Giridhar Bhawan Chowk and Seven Loves Chowk.

Additionally, traffic from CDO Square to Golibar Chowk will be diverted via Lullanagar, Khanya Maruti Chowk, Napier Road, and Mammadevi Chowk or Wanwadi Bazar and then via Bhairoba Nala. Traffic from Seven Loves Chowk to Golibar Maidan will be diverted via Salisbury Park, CDO Square and Bhairoba Nala. Traffic from Bhairoba Nala to Golibar Maidan will be diverted via Empress Garden and Lulla Nagar.

Furthermore, all heavy vehicles, including those operated by Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) and State Transport buses coming and going to Kondhwa, will be diverted via Gangadham Chowk.

These traffic changes are expected to ease congestion and improve traffic flow in the area. The police urge motorists to follow the new guidelines and plan their routes accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
