Pune Police Revise Parking Rules in Baner and Balewadi
Baner, 2nd April 2025: Pune Police have announced changes to traffic norms in the Baner and Balewadi areas, particularly concerning parking regulations. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Amol Zende, shared details about these updates. He stated that all previous parking-related orders in this area have been canceled, and residents must adhere to the new rules.
The changes are as follows:
- A 500-meter stretch of road from Balewadi High Street (BHS) to Park Xpress Housing Society has been designated as a no-parking zone on both sides.
- From the Park Xpress Housing Society gate to Pune Municipal Corporation School, P1 and P2 parking zones have been introduced, with odd/even day parking designations.
DCP Zende urged citizens in the area to submit any objections in written format. Letters can be sent to Pune Police’s Traffic Branch Office on Airport Road in Yerawada between April 2 and April 17.
