Nationwide lockdown extended till May 3
Prime Minister Narendra in his address to the nation today, which is the last day of 21 days nationwide lockdown, said that the lockdown across India has been extended till May 3. There will be some relaxations in places where there are less or no Coronavirus positive cases.

“We had taken steps very early before it turned into a big problem. We had stopped crowded places like malls, gym, and educational institutions etc very early. Even when India did not have a single corona patient, India had begun screening passengers from #COVID19 affected countries. Even before #COVID19 cases touched 100, India made it compulsory for foreign returnees to remain in 14 days isolation. We imposed 21-day lockdown when we had 550 cases. People are fighting Coronavirus like disciplined soldiers”, PM Modi said.
