Pimpri Chinchwad, 8th August 2024: In today’s Parliament session, concerns were raised by Maval MP Shrirang Barne regarding the condition of the national highway that runs through Maval taluka in the Pune district. The stretch from NH 4, extending from Ravet-Chandani Chowk to Kolhapur, is maintained by Reliance Infrastructure Company.
Replying to this Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said, “The heavy monsoon this year has resulted in numerous potholes on this highway, significantly deteriorating its condition. There was a call to scrap the existing proposal and initiate the process for a new one. We are looking into its legal aspects.”
