Pune–Prayagraj One-Way Special Trains Announced; Bookings Open From December 25
Pune, 23rd December 2025: To clear the additional passenger rush during the winter season, Central Railway has announced the operation of three one-way special trains on special charges from Pune to Prayagraj.
According to railway officials, the special services will run on select dates at the end of December to cater to increased travel demand on the Pune–Prayagraj route.
Train Services and Schedule
Train No. 01411 Pune–Prayagraj One-Way Special
The train will depart from Pune at 19:55 hrs on Saturday, December 27, 2025, and will arrive at Prayagraj at 02:10 hrs on Monday, December 29, 2025.
En route, the train will halt at Hadapsar, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Ankai, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, VGL Jhansi, Orai, Govindpuri and Fatehpur.
Train No. 01499 Pune–Prayagraj One-Way Special
This service will depart from Pune at 19:55 hrs on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and will reach Prayagraj at 02:10 hrs on Friday, January 2, 2026.
The stoppages for this train will remain the same as Train No. 01411.
Coach Composition
Both trains will run with a total of 20 ICF coaches, comprising 14 Sleeper Class (Reserved) coaches, 4 Sleeper Class (Unreserved) coaches, and 2 Guard/Luggage Vans.
Reservation and Ticketing
Booking for the reserved Sleeper Class coaches of Train Nos. 01411 and 01499 will open on December 25, 2025, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website.
Tickets for the unreserved Sleeper Class coaches will be available through the UTS system, with applicable unreserved fares for Superfast and Express trains.
