Pune: Purandar Airport Land Acquisition Notice Likely To Arrive In Two Weeks
Pune, 18th November 2022: On Thursday, divisional commissioner Saurabh Rao stated that the high-power committee meeting of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation regarding the acquisition of land for the proposed greenfield airport in Purandar was anticipated within a week.
He further stated that the notification designating the survey numbers for the project should be issued before this month’s end.
The meeting of the high-power committee is scheduled to take place next week, according to Pune Divisional Commissioner Rao, who claimed to have meetings with MIDC officials. The committee will issue the Intention of Development after calling the meeting (IOD). Following would be the MIDC’s message indicating the survey results. Any land deals using these survey numbers would end once the notification was sent. After discussions, the district administration can start the land acquisition procedure.
