Pune: Raid On Vimannagar’s ‘Hotel Plan B’; Owner Along With Three Arrested
Vimannagar, 28th September 2022: Officials of Inspector G Division of the Maharashtra State Excise Department raided Hotel Plan B at Viman Nagar and exposed the illegal sale of liquor going on at the place.
Hotel owner Akash Ram Kulkarni along with Raju Dhansingh Pawar, Shah Rukh Bilal Ahmed, and Nagesh Gundappa Chavan have been arrested in this case.
Along with this, action has also been taken at Hotel Rudransh, which is running within Chikhali village limits. The team of Bharari Pathak unit one has arrested the owner Mauli Balasaheb Chavan along with Kamro Iqbal Sheikh, Mehraj Riaz Ansari, Krishna Rajendra Arnale, Gaurav Appasaheb Devkule, Shubham Kailas Sonawane.
In both these cases, a case was registered under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act and the accused were produced before the courts at Pimpri and Shivajinagar. The Pimpri court sentenced each accused to a fine of Rs one thousand and punishment till rising of the court. Also, in the Shivajinagar court, each accused was sentenced to a fine of Rs five hundred.
