Pune Railway Division celebrates Independence Day
Pune August 15, 2020: Independence Day was celebrated with joy at various stations of Pune Railway Division. The main function was organized in the premises of Divisional Railway Manager’s (DRM) office, Pune. On this occasion, the flag hoisting was done by DRM Renu Sharma. A salute was given by the personnel of the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The DRM inspected the parade.
Addressing the program, the DRM highlighted the achievements of Pune Railway Division and appreciated the contribution of the employees. She also honoured the railway employees who worked tirelessly and remarkably in risky situations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager of Pune Division Neelam Chandra, Saharsh Bajpai and other officials including railway employees were present.
