Pune Records Season’s Lowest Temperature at 7.4°C

Pune, 25th January 2024: The Pune district experienced its coldest day of the season today as temperatures dipped to the lowest levels, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The recorded lowest temperatures across various locations in Pune district are as follows:

– PASHAN: 9.5°C
– RAJGURUNAGAR: 9.4°C
– DAUND: 9.2°C
– BARAMATI: 8.7°C
– SHIVAJINAGAR: 8.6°C
– MALIN: 7.8°C
– HAVELI: 7.8°C
– NDA: 7.6°C
– SHIRUR: 7.4°C

Anupam Kashyapi, the head of the weather forecasting division at the IMD in Pune, commented on the current weather conditions. He stated, “From Friday, a change in the wind pattern is expected. Two consecutive western disturbances are anticipated to impact parts of North India, preventing minimum temperatures from further drops until around January 29. However, there might be a brief period after that where night temperatures could fall again.”
