Pune RPO to Hold Open House on March 4 to Resolve Passport Police Verification Issues
Pune, 26th February 2026: The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Pune, in collaboration with the Pune Police Commissionerate, will hold a public open house on March 4 to address grievances related to police verification reports of passport applicants.
The initiative is aimed at providing a direct platform for applicants facing delays or objections during the police verification process, a key stage in passport issuance.
The open house will be conducted at the Regional Passport Office, Passport Bhavan, located on the Baner–Pashan Link Road in Baner. The session will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm, with on-the-spot grievance redressal expected.
Senior officials from the Regional Passport Office Pune and the Pune Police will be present during the interaction to examine complaints and provide clarifications.
Passport applicants can attend the open house without prior appointment. Officials have advised participants to carry objection letters, if issued, along with all relevant documents related to their application to ensure swift resolution of their cases.
Applicants attending the session have been requested to report at the venue by 2 pm to complete the registration process ahead of the interaction.
Authorities said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve transparency, coordination, and efficiency in passport-related services and to reduce inconvenience faced by applicants due to verification-related issues.
