Pune: Rupee Co-Operative Bank Urges Depositors To File Claims Before Year-End

Pune, 14th December 2024: Rupee Co-operative Bank, which has been under liquidation since 1st November 2022, has appealed to depositors who are yet to claim their insured deposits to file their applications by 31st December 2024. Depositors are eligible to receive a refund of up to ₹5 lakh as part of the insured deposit scheme.

Madhukant Garad, the bank’s appointed liquidator, urged those who have not yet submitted their claims to do so promptly. For individuals unable to visit a branch in person, applications can be sent via registered post to the bank’s head office at Market Yard, Gultekdi, Pune.

To file a claim, depositors must submit the following documents:
– KYC documents
– Deposit receipt or passbook
– A cancelled cheque of the bank account where the refund is to be deposited, or the passbook of the relevant account.

The bank has made the claim forms available on its official website, www.rupeebank.com Depositors are required to download the form, complete it in duplicate, attach the necessary documents, and submit them either in person or by post to the bank’s head office.

This appeal aims to ensure that all eligible depositors receive their insured refunds before the deadline.
