Pune: ‘Sabkesaathdiwali’ With Unmukta Youth Organization; Over 150 Food Packets Distributed

Pune, November 16 2020: Unmukta Youth Organization based in Pune initiated a campaign this Diwali known as ‘#sabkesaathdiwali’. The campaign was aimed at celebrating the festival of Diwali with the poor and underprivileged section of the society. The campaign ensured that no poor people were left out from the joy and celebration of Diwali.

 

As it is a festival of giving and receiving love, sweets and gifts, the karyakartas of the organization put in a lot of efforts to make the initiative successful. Sweets and variety of Diwali snacks were distributed in the areas of Bhosarigaon, Pimprigaon, Chinchwadgaon, Akurdi Railway Sation and Nigdi (Bhakti Shakti) bus depot area.

 

The Unmukta Youth Organization also donated food packets at the Punarutthan Samarasta Gurukulam which is run by Krantiveer Chapekar Smarak Samiti at Chinchwadgaon. The karyakartas also received the pleasure of meeting Girish Prabhune Kaka who is the founder of the Gurukulam.

 

Respective karyakartas Vaidehi Tengshe, Mansi Shinde, Nishigandha Phuge, Meghana Joshi, Tanmay Dumbre, Prathamesh Dhawaleshwar, Swarup Desai, Giriraj Gavhane of the organization took special efforts and assured that the food packets went to the right and deserving people. They also ensured that no plastic had been used during packing the food packets.

 

Also, Editor of MPC News and member of the Advisory Committee  Hrushikesh Tapshalkar helped a lot during the on-field distribution of the food packets. All the snacks were collected by people or bought from the funds raised under this initiative. Hence, it can be said that all the citizens made this campaign successful. In all, approximately 150-160 food packets were donated on November 15 and about 20-30 food packets will be donated today in Pune city areas.
