Pune School Closed Amid Allegations Of Sexual Abuse Of Many Girls; Police Investigation Underway
Sahakarnagar, 9th October 2023: A grave incident has come to light in a school located in the Sahakarnagar area of Pune, where allegations of sexual abuse involving 7 to 8 girls have been reported. Following multiple complaints, parents have taken the drastic step of closing the school. The situation has escalated, with police, parents, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists converging on the school premises in large numbers.

MNS workers were instrumental in bringing the issue to public attention. They have urged parents with any additional complaints to come forward and report them to the police.
In response to the numerous complaints, the police have assured parents that they will take further action and officially register a case. The school is currently under investigation, and its operations have been halted until further notice.
The parents, deeply concerned about the safety of their children, demanded the closure of the combined school. Their demand comes in the wake of multiple complaints from girls who reported being molested within the school premises.
The police are currently investigating the allegations.
