Pune Sees Highest Jump In Housing Sales In Second Quarter : Report
Pune 1st July 2023: The housing sales in the second quarter of 2023 has recorded the highest jump in Pune. According to a report by Anarock research, Pune recorded 65 percent jump in the number of units sold in the second quarter. A total of 20,680 units were sold in Pune. This according to the report was highest surge in any city across the country.
As per the reports, Pune and Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) accounted to almost 51 percent of total sale reported in the country in the second quarter. A total of 58,770 units were sold in Pune and MMR out of 1,15,100 housing sale reported in top seven cities.
MMR reported around 48 percent jump in the housing sales as 38,090 units were sold while Bangalore recorded 31 percent increase with 15,050 housing units sold in the second quarter here.
Last year, 12,500 units were sold in Pune in the second quarter. The experts have claimed that the trend of increasing number of housing sales will continue in Pune in the current year and it is likely to create a new record.
