Pune: Senior Citizen Died By Suicide Due To Second Wife’s Extramarital Affair, Note Hidden In Collar Reveals His Ordeal

Kalyaninagar, 17th December 2022: A case has come to light that a husband died by suicide after his wife started extorting money from him by blackmailing him with the help of her lover and relatives while having an extra-marital affair. He kept the suicide note written on his shirt collar before he died.

Based on that, the police have registered a case under IPC sections 306, 406, 420, and 34 against the wife, her lover, and two relatives at the Yerwada police station. The incident happened from 2019 to October 2022 at Landmark Society in Kalyaninagar.

The names of the accused are Geeta Kiran Jadhav (49), Kuldeep Madhusudan Mokashi (44), Hrudaynath Dinanath Salle (34), Bharti Hrudaynath Salle (29). Among them, Kuldeep Mokashi and Hrudaynath Salle have been arrested. Rajshree Pranav Thakur has filed a complaint in this matter.

Rajshree’s father had a second marriage with Geeta. She had an extramarital affair with Kuldeep Mokashi. When the complainant’s father came to know about this, he confronted Geeta and she confessed to this extra-marital affair.

She then started hanging around openly with Kuldeep. She misused her husband’s money. Geeta’s relative Hrudaynath and his wife Bharti went to the house and extorted money from the complainant’s father by threatening him.

He then died by suicide by hanging himself at his residence on October 4, 2022, due to the mental distress of all these things. Before he died, he had folded the suicide note against Geeta, Kuldeep, and her relatives and tied it to his shirt collar. After receiving the said note, a case has been registered against four. Police sub inspector Swapnali Gaikwad is further investigating the case.
