Pune: Separate Department Of Laboratory To Be Opened At Thergaon Hospital
Pune, 22nd March 2023: A separate department for laboratory is being created in Thergaon Hospital of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and its work has also started. The hospital administration said that this facility is being made available in view of the increasing rush of patients.
Patients are flocking to the Thergaon Hospital for treatment of various diseases and treatments, including epidemic diseases, childbirth, and others. The hospital is receiving reports that 1,000 to 1,100 patients are coming for treatment per day. Primary treatment is being given to the patients. Some patients are being screened for proper treatment.
The existing laboratory is insufficient for this purpose. Also, a department is being started for a separate laboratory to avoid inconvenience to the patients.
At present, an iron pillar has been set up at this place. Soon these three departments will be set up. The laboratory at this place has the facility to collect blood from the employees. The collected blood will be sent to other hospitals of the Municipal Corporation and the report will be obtained. The hospital said that further treatment will be done accordingly.
If these departments are opened, inconvenience to the patients will be avoided. The hospital administration informed that the treatment will also be done in time.
