Pune Startup Expo is being organized to promote entrepreneurship

Pune, 3rd April 2025 : To promote entrepreneurship, the Pune Startup Expo 2025 will be held on Thursday, April 10, under the guidance of State Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Chandrakant Patil. Organized by Destination Co-working, Pune Business and Infrastructure Group, TDTL, and MIT-WPU, this expo aims to foster innovation and growth among startups. Amruta Deogaonkar, the Convenor of the expo shared this information during a press conference today. The Pune Startup Expo 2025 is scheduled to take place at MIT WPU in Kothrud from 9 am to 5 pm. This expo is free and open to all.

Amruta Deogaonkar shared insights about the Pune Startup Expo 2025, stating that it’s part of the Startup India initiative under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ program. This expo aims to promote entrepreneurship, providing a platform for startups and students to showcase their skills. It will also offer guidance to startups, helping them present innovative ideas, increase market visibility, and accelerate growth.

Amruta Deogaonkar provided details on participating in the expo, stating, “This expo is open to students and startups. Students can register their startup ideas on the expo’s website, uploading PPT presentations, synopsis, or videos. The organizers will then select the best startup ideas. On April 10, the expo will award prizes to the top ideas. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to present their concepts to entrepreneurs, experts, and mentors, potentially leading to future collaborations.”

The website https://punestartupexpo.com/ is also open for startup registrations, allowing them to share their information and connect with investors, mentors, and entrepreneurs. The best startups will be showcased at the expo on April 10, providing a platform for direct interaction with investors. Additionally, startups will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts and mentors from various sectors. The website has categorized startups into AI-ML, Fashion, Agriculture & Food, Entertainment & Media, Real Estate, and Healthcare & Biotech and others enabling maximum registrations.

On April 10, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, the Pune Startup Expo award ceremony will be held in the presence of Hon Chandrakant Patil. Following this, during the afternoon session, participating startups will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors and engage in one-on-one discussions, informed by Amruta Deogaonkar.
