Pune: Surendra Pathare Foundation Organizes Vaccination Drive At Housing Societies In Kharadi And Viman Nagar
Kharadi, 5th June 2021: An immunization camp for housing societies in Pune was flagged off by Surendra Pathare Foundation on Saturday. The drive took place in the Kharadi area with nearly 4000 beneficiaries participating across 12 major housing societies like Forest County, Accolade, Gera North, Mount-en-Glory, Marvel Cerise, Dreams Viroday, Gulmohar City, Ganga Arcadia, Nyati Elysian, Alcon and Mio Plaza.

Surendra Pathare, president of Surendra Pathare Foundation said, “The second wave has hit us all bad. We understand the importance of getting vaccinated and I want to make Kharadi and Viman Nagar 100% vaccinated areas of Pune. The entire process of getting permission for this residential vaccination drive in Pune has not been easy, there have been multiple follow-ups with authorities, constant planning with residents and local associations and much more. We will be vaccinating 15000+ residents across 150 residential complexes in Kharadi and Viman Nagar in the coming weeks. We have tied up with Apollo Health for the same.”
Surendra Pathare Foundation in association with the Kharadi Residents Association has been working for one month in making sure all residents are registered in an organized way for this drive. They have been using online forms to gather data from those willing to get vaccinated. A team of over 100 volunteers worked relentlessly to set up 12 parallel camps on one single day in these residential complexes.

Surendra Pathare Foundation helped these societies turn their clubhouses, open podiums and parking areas into makeshift vaccination centres, demarcating waiting areas, vaccination areas and observation areas.
The foundation has already lined up 122 residential complexes in the next 10 days for this massive vaccine drive across Viman Nagar and Kharadi.
