Pune, 1st October 2026: Electricity supply to actress Tanisha Mukherjee’s farmhouse in Lonavala was restored by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) on Wednesday (September 30), after she cleared outstanding dues of around ₹3,000.

The power connection at the property, which is registered in Mukherjee’s name, had been disconnected on September 26 over non-payment of the electricity bill. The supply was restored on Wednesday afternoon after the pending amount was paid online.

According to MSEDCL, the farmhouse has a three-phase electricity connection. The property is spread across a large area, and its electricity meter is located about 300 feet from the main entrance. Security staff are posted at the entrance, and meter readers are required to obtain permission from the caretaker to access the meter.

MSEDCL said Mukherjee had paid the bill for July 2026 on August 5. Bills for subsequent months were then generated, with the August bill carrying a September 4 payment deadline.

An SMS alert regarding the unpaid bill was sent to the registered mobile number. After the notice period ended on September 19, local MSEDCL officials also contacted the farmhouse manager several times and requested that the outstanding amount be paid.

As the dues remained unpaid, the electricity connection was disconnected on September 26, according to MSEDCL.

The outstanding amount was subsequently paid through MSEDCL’s online payment facility on September 30. The utility said the electricity supply was restored shortly after the payment was received.

MSEDCL said disconnection for non-payment is carried out according to its prescribed procedure and that connections are restored after the outstanding dues are cleared. In this case, the utility said, the supply was restored promptly after receipt of the payment.
