Pune: Thieves Break Into Anandnagar Society, Steal Goods Worth Rs. 4 Lakh
Pune, 19th April 2023: Thieves attempted to break into five flats in a society located in Anandnagar on Sinhagad Road. They managed to break into one flat and stole property worth Rs. 4 lakh 15 thousand.
A complaint has been lodged by the owner of the flat, Neelima Anil Deshpande, who was not present at the time of the incident. The thieves broke the door of her residence and stole 142 grams of gold and 390 grams of silver jewelry from the bedroom closet.
It was also discovered that the thieves tried to break into four flats at Kapre Garden by breaking the walls. Police officials visited the site and inspected the situation. They are currently trying to trace the culprits by examining the CCTV footage of the area. Assistant Police Inspector M Nikam of Sinhagad Road Police Station is leading the investigation.
