Pune: Three Policemen Suspended In Pimpri Chinchwad For Taking Bribe From Scrap Dealer
Hinjawadi, 5th November 2022: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Ankush Shinde has suspended the three policemen who left the vehicle with money without taking legal action on the seized vehicle carrying scrap.
Late on Friday (November 4) night, three police personnel were suspended. This incident happened a month ago and all three suspended policemen were working at Hinjawadi Police Station.
Names of the suspended police officials are Jyotiram Zende, Vilas Borhade, and Ashok Ghuge. A month ago, the three had caught a scrap vehicle. The vehicle was abandoned after taking money without taking legal action. After it was observed that the police left the vehicle without taking any action, the police commissioner suspended the three.
Jyotiram Zende, Vilas Borhade, and Ashok Ghuge have been seen as indisciplined for serious misconduct. Therefore, the police commissioner has mentioned in the order that they are being suspended
