Pune, 4th September 2025: Central Railway has announced multiple festival special trains originating from Pune to accommodate increased passenger demand during the upcoming Puja, Diwali, and Chhath festivals in 2025.

Pune-New Delhi Weekly Service
Train 01491/01492 will operate weekly between Pune and New Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin station from September 26 to November 28, 2025. The service departs Pune every Friday at 17:30 hours and reaches New Delhi the following Saturday at 20:00 hours. The return journey departs New Delhi on Saturday at 21:25 hours, arriving in Pune on Sunday at 23:55 hours. The train will make 10 trips in each direction.
Pune-Sirsa Weekly Express
Special train 01433/01434 will connect Pune with Sirsa (SNGN) weekly from September 24 to November 26, 2025. Departing Pune on Wednesdays at 09:45 hours, the train reaches Sirsa on Thursday at 05:40 hours after covering 1,286 kilometers in approximately 19 hours and 55 minutes. The return service leaves Sirsa on Thursday at 11:35 hours, arriving in Pune on Friday at 09:30 hours.
Daily Pune-Gorakhpur Service
Train 01415/01416 will operate daily between Pune and Gorakhpur from September 27 to November 30, 2025.
