Pune to Host Exclusive Book Launch of Gen. Manoj Naravane’s The Curious and the Classified
Pune, 17th August 2026: Pune is set to host an exclusive literary evening with Gen. Manoj Naravane, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, the 28th Chief of the Army Staff, for the launch of his latest book, The Curious and the Classified: Unearthing Military Myths and Mysteries.
The event is scheduled for August 20, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Modern College Auditorium, Shivaji Nagar, Pune. It will bring together readers, military enthusiasts and others interested in the lesser-known stories, legends, mysteries and experiences associated with the Indian Armed Forces.
Known for his distinguished military career and leadership, Gen. Naravane turns his attention in the book to a different side of military life—one shaped by intriguing incidents, enduring legends, unexplained occurrences, military folklore and stories that have captured the imagination of generations.
