Pune: Traffic Jam In Deccan Gymkhana Area Due To Farmer’s March
Deccan, 7th November 2022: The traffic in the Deccan Gymkhana area was disrupted due to the march taken out by the sugarcane farmers today (November 7) for various demands. Motorists had to face a lot of struggles as they got stuck in traffic jams.
Swabhimani Farmers Association organized a march at Sakhar Sankul in Shivajinagar today for various demands of sugarcane farmers. A large number of farmers participated in the march. Traffic was disrupted in Deccan Gymkhana, Ferguson Road, Gokhale Smarak Chowk, and Khandujibaba Chowk areas.
Police had made arrangements for the march on a prior basis. According to the information given by the traffic police the traffic in the Deccan Gymkhana area had to be blocked for some time as a large number of farmers participated in the march.
