Pune: Traffic Police Issues Orders Regarding Parking And No-Parking Zones In Viman Nagar, Vishranbaug Areas
Pune, 7th January 2023: In accordance with the safe and smooth running of traffic in the city of Pune, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Kumar Magar of the Pune City Traffic Branch has issued some final orders and some temporary orders regarding parking, no-parking in the city.
Final orders have been issued in some cases after considering the objections and suggestions received on the provisional orders passed earlier. Accordingly, no parking has been declared between Viman Nagar Lane No 2 to Srikrishna Hotel and Dutt Mandir Chowk to Upsouth Hotel Lane (Viman Nagar Lane No 2).
While P1P2 parking has been announced from the beginning of Hotel Sambar Lane to Upsouth Hotel as well as Dutt Mandir Chowk to Kailas Super Market Chowk and Dwarka Garden Chowk to Sangharsh Chowk for about 200 meters.
It has also been clarified that these orders will not be applicable to essential service vehicles like fire brigades, police vehicles, ambulances, etc.
The Traffic Branch has issued temporary orders declaring no parking between Jijamata Chowk to Futka Buruj Chowk and Futka Buruj Chowk to Vasant Date Chowk under Vishrambaug Traffic Division.
Magar further informed that citizens are requested to send any objections and suggestions to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Yerwada Postal Office, Bungalow No. 6, Pune by January 17, 2023.
