Pune Traffic Police Receive Arrest Warrants Against 732 Vehicle Owners For Pending Cases Of Traffic Rules Violation

Pune 21st July 2023: The Traffic Police Department of the Pune City has appealed the vehicle owners against whom the warrants have been issued by the Motor Vehicle Court to pay their dues and settle the matter before the court in the next 8 days to avoid action. The traffic police have received warrants from the court against 732 vehicle owners who have failed to appear before the court or settle the matters since 2020.
According to the traffic department, cases were filed against the vehicle owners who failed to appear before the court for settlement for the traffic rules violation. However, despite informing the vehicle owners about legal consequences many of them failed to settle the matters. As a result, number of such pending cases has increased due to which the court has now issued warrants against such vehicle owners.

The concerned vehicle owners against whom the warrants have been issued are appealed to appear before the court and get the matters settled in the next 8 days. However, those who fail to do it in the given time will face action and they will be arrested and produced before the court by police.
The traffic police have also appealed the citizens to pay their dues against traffic violation to avoid legal action
