Pune: Train Disruptions On Lonavala-Malavali Route For ROB Construction From April 6-8; Check Key Details Below

Pune, 3rd April 2025: Central Railway will operate special traffic and power blocks for the launching of four steel girders as part of the proposed construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) on the Lonavala-Malavali section, replacing Level Crossing Gate No. 32 at Km 128/16-17. These blocks will be in effect on April 6, 7, and 8, 2025.

The blocks will impact UP and DOWN lines between Malavali and Lonavala as follows:

Repercussions Due to the Block:

Block 1 – Sunday, April 6 (1:05 PM to 4:05 PM)

Regulation of Mail/Express Trains:

  • Train 22159 CSMT-Chennai Express will be regulated at Lonavala until 4:05 PM.
  • Train 17222 LTT-Kakinada Express will be regulated at Karjat until 3:20 PM.
  • Train 22194 Gwalior-Daund Express will be regulated at Chauk for 10 minutes.

Short Termination / Origination of EMU Trains:

  • Train 99814 Pune-Lonavala EMU & Train 99816 Shivaji Nagar-Lonavala EMU will be short-terminated at Malavali.
  • Train 99813 Lonavala-Pune EMU & Train 99815 Lonavala-Shivaji Nagar EMU will short-originate from Malavali.

Block 2 – Monday, April 7 (1:05 PM to 2:35 PM)

Short Termination / Origination of EMU Trains:

  • Train 99816 Shivaji Nagar-Lonavala EMU will be short-terminated at Malavali.
  • Train 99813 Lonavala-Pune EMU will short-originate from Malavali.

Block 3 – Tuesday, April 8 (1:05 PM to 3:05 PM)

Short Termination / Origination of EMU Trains:

  • Train 99816 Shivaji Nagar-Lonavala EMU will be short-terminated at Malavali.
  • Train 99813 Lonavala-Pune EMU will short-originate from Malavali.
