Pune: Tushara Thummalapalli wins the National Bronze medal in the boat pulling
Pune, 7th November 2022: Cadet Tushara Thummalapalli, (3rd year, Mechanical Engineering, MITSOE), MIT ADT University, Pune wins the National Bronze medal in the boat pulling at NCC all India NAU Sainik camp held at Visakhapatnam During 2nd October to 12th October 2022. The gold medal was Awarded by the hands of Hon. Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh.
Tushara won the National Bronze medal in boat pulling, representing Maharashtra. She also won the State gold medals in boat pulling, the State silver medal in boat rigging and the State bronze medal in seamanship practical at Intergroup Competition.
Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Chancellor, MIT ADT University congratulated the students on getting national accolades. He said that NCC gives the youth of the country exposure to a life full of adventure, discipline, and honour by inculcating in them a sense of leadership and camaraderie.
