Pune: Two Injured After Construction Site Shed, Material Fall in Lullanagar

Kondhwa, 18th September 2026: Two people were injured after a temporary metal shed and construction material from a building site fell near Jayashree Hotel in Lullanagar, Pune, on Friday evening.

The incident took place at around 6:51 pm, when the shed and material reportedly fell on two persons who were standing below the building.

One of the injured has been identified as Rajesh Mishra, a delivery worker. He was taken to Spire Hospital near Gangadham Chowk, where he is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries.

The second injured person has been identified as Shubham Kumar, 18, a waiter at Jayashree Hotel. He suffered a minor blunt-force injury but did not require hospitalisation. His condition is reported to be normal.

Police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot following the incident and are carrying out further assessment.

Senior Police Inspector Santosh Khetmalas, in charge of Kondhwa Police Station, confirmed the incident and the details of the injured persons.
