Pune: Two New 22 KV Power Lines Commissioned for Improved Power Supply in Kondhwa and Pisoli

Kondhwa, 1st February 2025: In a bid to enhance the quality and reliability of electricity supply for consumers in Kondhwa and Pisoli, two new 22 KV power lines were commissioned by Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar. These lines aim to improve the power supply to domestic, commercial, and industrial users in the area, benefiting a total of 41,900 consumers.
The new power lines, named Aarti 22 KV industrial power line and Brahma 22 KV power line, have been constructed from the 132/22 KV extra high voltage substation located at Bibwewadi. The commissioning ceremony was attended by several officials, including Superintendent Engineer Arvind Bulbule, Executive Engineer Chandrakant Dighe, Additional Executive Engineer Rajendra Bhujbal, Assistant Engineer Shrikant Avachar, and Varsha Borkar.
The Aarti 22 KV industrial power line has been designed to alleviate the power load on the Kumar Palm 22 KV line and Shobha Substation. The newly completed line will directly benefit 18,900 consumers across Punyadham Ashram Road, Tiny Industrial Area, and Pisoli Road by providing them with a more consistent and higher-quality power supply.
Additionally, the Brahma 22 KV power line has been set up to supply power to the Brahma Switching Station in Kondhwa. This new line will serve approximately 23,000 consumers in areas such as Kondhwa, Bhagyodaya Nagar, Shivneri, Kuba Masjid, and Waghjai, ensuring a steady power supply to these regions.
The commissioning of this line also provides an alternative power supply to the Brahma Switching Station, improving the overall reliability of the electrical grid.
